PARASAIL CREW

Captain Jonathan Poore

Jonathan has been Parasailing since the company began in 1997. He has served as mate to other Captains and drove both smaller parasail boats the company started with then moved to the larger Ocean pro 31 Parasail boat. He fills in from time to time when a Captain needs the day off. Jonathan drove the boat full time in 05,06 & 07 while also filling in on the dive boat as its Captain. Jonathan goes where he is needed Captain or mate or Divemaster or office.

Captain Benjamin Jones

Ben Jones is a Master Captain of both the Parasail boat and the dive boat. He started in the business with Jonathan and Jennifer in 1997 while still in high school at Socatee High School. He worked his way through the ranks to Divemaster and set chain on many wrecks and reefs offshore. Ben Loves to spearfish for grouper or hogfish or lobster. He became a mate on the Parasail boat and worked his way up to Captain of our 6 passenger boats. Ben later took over our new 12 passenger boat a CWS Ocean Pro 31 and ran this boat for several seasons while attending college. Ben is now living in Arizona going to School for a Masters Degree and can be found from time to time back on the ocean getting his feet wet or driving one of the boats. There is little water in the desert.

Captain  Bryan Jones AKA....Johnny Bravo BANANA BOAT Captain

Bryan Jones is also the brother of Jennifer Jones and Ben Jones . He has been working at Express Watersports on and off since 1997. He worked for his brother Ben as a mate for a season. Bryan trains some of the new mates and works Part time on the Parasail boat when needed. He is our relief mate. He comes in from time to time to give others a break or just to be out on the water. Bryan is a all around funny guy to be crewed with who has a great outlook on life. Bryan can be seen at Myrtle Beach International Airport working with the airlines. If you fly in you might see him on the ramp one day and on the parasail boat the next. Bryan loves to fish and scuba dive. He also like to travel in the winter with the dive crew.

MATE DREW

Drew is from Tennesee and is a student at Coastal Carolina University. Drew Works the back deck on getting the Parasail in the air and suits everyone up in a harness,takes pictures and makes sure you are having a good time. He is certified in CPR and First AID. Drew is also a swim instructor. You may see him in the pool from time to time. He like to also dive and spearfish on the ledges when we let him have a day off.

Captain/Mate Russell Baisch

Russell Has joined the Parasail team for the 2007 season and is no stranger to boats. Russell has caught on to Parasailing real fast and has recently passed his test for the USCG Captains Licence. Russell enjoys fishing and scuba diving. Russell is now a scuba diver and has taken up spearfishing on some of our area ledges. HE loves to be on the water.
